It’s August 1, 2020.
How did we get here already?
What a choppy, false start, complicated, distracting, emotionally volatile year it’s been so far.
Do you feel like you’re still waiting for this year to start?
Me too.
It feels like when things “open up” all of the way, when travelling is an option, when the borders are open, when the kids go back to school, and when the movie theatres start playing new movies, sports start sporting, and horse events are rolling again…. then this year will start. And we will finally start.
But here’s the thing I can’t wrap my head around. We are well over half way done this year.
And to be honest, I’ve kind of missed the majority of it.
So I think we best get over waiting for it to start, and get on with living our lives.
What does that look like now?
Well if we have a semi blank canvas then what shall we paint?
