We spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make things better.

And I think it’s a good use of your time.

Progress brings a sense of accomplishment and that brings us happiness.

So you definitely want to solve problems and move forward.

Along with that it’s fair to say that you need to be compassionate with others and forgiving of yourself when things aren’t happening as fast as you want them to, or if you have made mistakes.

But more importantly, you need to notice what’s working.

You need to celebrate your wins.

At the end of the day today, ask yourself what went right.

No matter what happens in your day there is always a win or something’s that went right.

Some of the time you win big, but most of the time it’s small and you forget about it.

If you had hope at one point in your day, that’s good. It counts.

If you were able to forgive yourself once, that’s good.

If you remembered to look for what was good – even that is a win.

The great thing about looking for the wins, is that they build on each other.

When you can start stacking up little wins, pretty soon they start to feel more like the big deal that they are.

You are winning, I’m certain of it.

Make sure you stop to notice.
