Hey, I’m Jodi
I help people who are playing small show up for life fulfilled and openhearted. I help them live according to their values while sprinkling in ways to help them stand a little taller and see things a little bit clearer.
People come to me when they aren’t feeling brave and are tired of trying to fix themselves. Together we talk about what the real issues are. We dig into the framework of the situation and figure out a clear path forward where everyone wins.
I was a stay at home wife and homeschooling mom, and now I’m a single mom living the life of my dreams and I want you to live the life of your dreams too.
If you’re dying to know more, here are 7 things you might not know about me.
#1. I am crazy about animals and I grew up on the back of a horse. (ok, its possible you already knew this one, but its my favorite one). I competed heavily and successfully in horse shows in my teenage years. I’m good with horses. Despite my success, I didn’t realize this until I was an adult.
#2. I named this blog after my soul-mate horse. His name was Mr. Starpasser (we called him Dex). We lost him in 2017 and I still dream about him regularly. Everyone needs at least one animal that is a soul-mate. One who connects with you so deeply that you comfort each other just by being there.
#3. I am the worst sick person in the world. I can’t stand not feeling at my best. I am totally miserable and whiny. This drives me to live a healthy lifestyle. I’m constantly looking for less invasive ways to heal, natural ways to overcome everything, and better foods to eat. I go to bed early and I don’t drink coffee or alcohol.
#4. I am a mom to 3 kids. Being a mom is the most favorite job I’ve ever had and I’m good at it. My kids are the proof. If you don’t believe me, spend some time with them.
#5. I have an unhealthy attachment to my clothes. I didn’t realize this until I had them laundered on a holiday and they had them locked away when it was time to leave. I wasn’t my best self that day – lets not talk about that.
#6. I am afraid of heights. I can’t jump high on a trampoline without screaming. Its just better if I am attached to the ground somehow.
#7. I am living proof that its never too late to change your mind and start a new life whether you want to act, dance, write, or rock out in a band. Work hard and love what you’re doing. Don’t worry about what other people will think just focus on being the best you can be and pretty soon things start to fall into place.
