It seems to take us too long to see what’s great about ourselves.
We are more inclined to self doubt, than to step up and see ourselves in a positive light.
It’s always better for both of you when you look for what’s special in another. But not for the reason you might be thinking right now. This is not just a positive message blog.
If you want to bring out the best in someone, you need to recognize it in them.
When we see greatness in someone else before they see it in themselves, and we speak it… we create a bond.
When you hold them in that light, they want to live up to what you see in them. We all want that. None of us want to be a failure.
But when they have found their greatness and you don’t see it, it creates a rift between the two of you. Sometimes you will never overcome it.
When you disregard or disrespect someone who has worked hard to get to where they are and they have surpassed you, you’re doing harm.
Being sensitive to what the other person is striving for is never a bad idea. Acknowledging is the best idea.
