I used to hate the idea of making the same mistake twice.

What would it say about me?

What would other people think?

It was paralyzing me but I didn’t realize it until my marriage ended. I was afraid to date until I knew my role in the breakdown.

While it has served me well to be independent, it wasn’t a healthy fear.

If you are paying attention to your surroundings and open to exploring the lessons life is handing you, you won’t keep unconsciously repeating the same pattern.

You will be a different person next time around because every day you are changing.

Repeating the same mistakes only happens when you are running your life on autopilot.

The best way to learn is to pay attention to your thoughts. What have you been conditioned to think or believe? Why are you doing what you’re doing?

The more you understand that part of your operating system the less you will keep running the same patterns.
