Fear of rejection held me captive for a long time. I couldn’t move forward because I couldn’t stomach the thought of not being accepted.

Naming that fear and coming to terms with it was one of the best things I did.

I’ve realized it’s not about me, it’s about the situation, the other person, and what is aligned with where I want to go… and what isn’t.

It’s easier to stay where you’re at and not risk rejection or failure. I see a lot of people doing what I used to do.

They stay in places they’ve outgrown, they beat the old drum, and they let their light dissipate because of the fear of what might happen if they try to move forward.

There is something freeing about the idea of trying new things and going to new places.

You can go on mini adventures everyday if you say, “let’s try this and see if it works”. But first you have to move past the fear.
