Who’s it for?

What’s it for?

Seth Godin introduced me to design thinking several years ago. It took me way too long to figure out it wasn’t his theory, but the thinking they put into designing something.

Apparently if you go to design school “who’s it for?” and “what’s it for?” are common questions.

I see these 2 questions pop up anytime we want to do something with intention.

Holding a get together? What’s it for?

Writing a letter? What’s it for?

Remodelling a space? What’s the space used for?

These two questions will help you quickly get to the heart of what you’re trying to achieve, and give you a clear picture of what you’re working towards.
