We live in a world with so much information at our fingertips that it’s hard to figure out which messages are meant for us.
I never used to know what book to read or what link to follow.
Sometimes I find some really cool stuff just by following a rabbit trail of links.
I’ve learned to follow the pieces that jump out at me.
Sometimes these pieces are subtle, and sometimes they are all you can think about.
When someone else is telling a story there will be one part that really catches your attention, maybe it doesn’t make sense, or maybe your understanding was different than theirs…dig into that a little deeper.
Many times your clarifying questions will help them gain clarity as well.
When scrolling through social media and something piques your interest, follow it through until you sort out whether it was meant for you.
When you are choosing a new book to dive into, watch for signs that the book is trying to send you… lots of times the book will choose you if you let it.
You can be guided through the world, but you need to be in tune with the subtleties, the nuance, your responses, and the little things that are happening.
If you wait until the big things try to get your attention, lots of the time you have missed a world of little pathways that preceded them.
