“If there is a will there’s a way”.
How many times do we hear this cliche over and over again through out the course of our lives?
While I wanted to believe it, I could never see my way past the roadblocks and obstacles that popped up.
How do you buy something when you just don’t have the money?
How do you sell something when you don’t have the customers?
How do you build something when you don’t have the resources?
The internet has been a blessing for me to realize that there is no us versus them.
There isn’t the guy who is born more skilled, more talented, and a better choice for the job based on genetics.
The internet has enabled us to see the “chosen few” in their flawed glory.
Celebrities who can’t get their life together well enough to stay out of jail… spiritual leaders who’s family complain they aren’t present, and the well written book authors who have been married multiple times before they come out of the closet.
These people I used to think of as having it all, have just as many (or maybe more) struggles in other areas of their life as I do.
What they have that the rest of us need to emulate, is the ability to keep showing up for life and figuring out a way through the roadblocks and obstacles.
And now we have an equal playing ground.
The internet has given us a platform to show up, and connect with people we couldn’t have found otherwise.
Great, but unheard of musicians can share their music to audiences, so can photographers, inventors, and teachers.
But we have to have the will in order to find the way.
The internet has made everything possible.
We can share what we want to share.
We can learn what we want to learn.
Never before has it been so easy to figure it all out.
We can connect with like minded people, and experts, and beginners all at the same time.
Are you going to take advantage of it?
