There is so much stuff in the world that it’s hard to find the cool stuff unless you already know about it, so every once in a while I like to share what I’m enjoying in case you like it also.

What I’m Listening To: Oprah and Deepak are doing their meditation again right now. (Click here). We are part way through and I haven’t listened to them all but the ones I’ve caught have been helpful for me. I have been creating a lot of burden for myself to carry around, and Deepak is helping me get my thoughts gathered up to bring me back to lightness.

What I’m Drinking: We have a Freshii restaurant in town. I’ve been really struggling with energy levels so I’ve been stopping regularly for a Juice from there. My 2 favourites are the Green energy (it tastes a bit like grass but it is packed with nutrient goodness), and the Revive (Carrot juice that has ginger and turmeric). Turmeric is a pain and inflammation reliever, and ginger is delicious, so I reach for this one when I have headaches or I’m feeling bloated. Beware, at $6.50 each they are pricey, but they sure give you a natural boost.

What I’m Excited About: At this months self-awareness class I made Value Adding Journals and handed them out to everyone. We are tracking the ways we add value to our own lives and to others lives. I am excited for the reports and to see how it changes everyone. If you would like a PDF of the page so you can make your own, email me jodi@starpasser.com and I’ll send it to you.

Quote I’m Pondering: “Something that is yours forever is never precious” ― Chaim Potok

Music I’m Loving: Ed Sheeran fascinates me. I don’t entirely know why I have such an affinity with him, but I learn so much about craft and art just by listening to him. (His birthday is the day after mine, maybe that makes it easy for me to relate to him ?). His latest song I am listening to over and over is Supermarket Flowers. My technical fascination with this song is how he can intensify the emotion he evokes without changing the volume in his voice. Yes it made me cry….several times. I love that someone can create art that touches you like that. (Give it a good and careful listen and try not to cry Dad).
