When you’re hiding, you’re hiding from everyone.
You won’t consciously know that you’re hiding until you are asked to show up. Instantly you will realize it because you will feel afraid, and you will feel the resistance.
No matter how much you’re already showing up, there always seems to be a part that still hides, that is still afraid of criticism, and that is afraid of being seen as a fraud or a failure.
The only way to overcome it, is to keep showing up.
The ironic part is that you think you’re hiding from the critics, but you’re really hiding from the good people.
The more you show up, the more you join a secret club of people who are vulnerable, humble, and working to make the world a better place.
But you don’t get to be in the club by hiding… because they can’t see you there.
P.S. It’s ok to do something once in a while simply because you want to.
