I used to consider myself as a “wind beneath the wings” kind of person. I could love enough, encourage enough, and tackle the mundane tasks so that someone else could have the limelight.

The problem was we all prefer to hide, and nobody was brave enough to step into the light, even with all of my super support. Including me.

“The wind beneath the wings” persona was one of my ways of hiding.

It takes guts to show up and take responsibility for an outcome. It’s not easy to take the lead because it singles us out from the crowd.

But it’s tragic to know you could be doing better and leaving that inside just because you were scared,

Show up. It’s worth it and you owe it to yourself.
