I used to be so critical of myself.

Once in a while I find myself going down that road again but mostly I’m tired of it.

That critical inner voice only makes you weaker. It never makes you stronger.

If you beat someone up enough, they close their heart, become disconnected and stop caring.

And if you beat yourself up enough, you will stop caring too.

But if you start to see the good where you used to criticize, and you start to believe in yourself instead of thinking you should know better… you start to gain momentum.

You start to care about the way other people treat you.

You start to care about the environment you’re in.

You start to care about the landscape of your life.

Just for today, make a list of what’s really great about you. What is always true about who you are?

The more you dig into what’s good, the more you can lean into the good.

And the better it gets, the better you get too.
