Just for today… no more buts.
When you want to do 2 things at the same time.
“I’m going to work but I would rather be at the lake”, “I’m going to eat my veggies, but I would rather have dessert”, or “I’m staying but I want to be be somewhere else.
Buts distract us and keep us from giving our whole selves to whatever is in front of us.
And that causes us unnecessary stress.
Just for today let’s drop the but.
If it’s what you want to do, then do it.
