Just for today let’s really focus on connection.
It doesn’t matter who or how, let’s just open ourselves up to ourselves or another.
Sometimes we simply need to connect with ourselves. How are we feeling, what’s in our heart, and finding the stillness within ourselves and staying with it for a few moments.
Sometimes we need to connect with nature. Walk barefoot in the grass, listen to the birds, find some flowing water, or feel the warmth of the sun in your head. I especially love to feel the happiness that my animals have when we are together.
Sometimes we need to connect with another human. Having good conversations about things that matter, solving the worlds problems, or laughing and playing together.
Just for today, let’s make a point of finding connection and basking in that feeling. Our future selves will thank us for it.
