There were days that would pass while I was building my workshop where it felt like I couldn’t get any traction.

I would sit down to work on it and feel like I hadn’t accomplished anything by the end of the day.

I was listening to a podcast that had Brooke Castillo on it (she runs a multi multi million dollar business and works 3 days per week from 12:00pm -6:00pm – she is a master at being productive).

Her advice was to never sit down to work on something. When you are working sit down to produce something.

This small change in intention made all of the difference for me. Before I would start to “work on” my workshop material I would decide what I work I would produce in that session.

My productivity level rose substantially.

Just for today, produce something. Make a plan to start and finish a project, and have something finished by the end of it instead of working aimlessly, make a plan and produce it.

You feel so much accomplished at the end of the day. And you’ll see the progress. And we already know that progress makes us happy.

I would love to hear what you will produce or what you have produced. Let me know!
