Yesterday I attended a funeral for a lady who was 6 months older than I was.
She received a lung transplant 10 years ago and had spent those years living life as though everyday was her last.
They spoke about how much she loved life, joined in on all things fun, didn’t sweat the small stuff, had a great sense of humour and laughed longer than everyone else.
She learned things that we all know, but don’t implement. We have all heard the sayings about living every day to the fullest… and yet we don’t.
We stress over unimportant things, we say no to having fun and playing… and why aren’t we the last ones laughing?
Just for today, let your spirit be larger than your life. Love your life. Have some fun. Laugh a little longer. Enjoy whatever is happening. And just be so grateful you are still here experiencing it all.
