I drove to my chiropractors office one morning before school.
My appointment was at 7:00am.
His office was in the city, and it was 35 minutes door to door.
I parked my truck and walked in to the office that day, only to find out that he was on a business trip in California and wouldn’t be returning until later that day.
I was a day early for my appointment.
I returned to see him the next day and we were discussing his trip and how I had made the mistake of coming a day early.
He told me at exactly 7:00 am the previous day, he distinctly remembered wondering what was going on at the clinic as he boarded his plane.
That was the first time I noticed the magic of connection over physical distance.
It was 23 years ago and even though I have accepted it as normal, I’m still delighted every time it happens.
Yesterday, I wrote about the horse clinic I took a few years ago from Dan Duckering, who doesn’t know I write a blog, and I haven’t seen since April.
Guess who phoned me yesterday afternoon “out of the blue”?
It’s not a coincidence that you’re thinking about someone and the phone rings and it’s them.
It’s not a coincidence when you run into someone who is carrying the same book you’re reading at the airport.
It’s not a coincidence when you are in the right place at the right time and meet someone who is meant to be in your life.
I don’t believe in coincidences.
I believe in connection, I believe in intuition, I believe in angels and I believe in Magic.
Lean into the moments of synchronicity.
Lean into life to see if you can figure out the puzzle.
Lean into the magic.
Did you know: Abracadabra is a Hebrew phrase that means “I will create when I speak”. Abracadabra is a powerful spell, and it looks like the image at the top of the page. You would write it downwards to rid yourself of evil and write it upwards for good luck. People of the ancient world wore it as an amulet.
PS. If you look at the bottom of my page you will see a new addition to sign up for my private email list. If you sign up, great things will come your way. Abracadabra!
