Energy needs to flow.
When it becomes trapped it causes problems.
A long time ago I remember my mom telling me that anytime I’m feeling strong energy inside of me, like fear or intense anger, to just allow it to pass through. If you hold onto it for more than 3 minutes it is trapped inside of you.
I had forgotten this little tidbit of information until recently.
With my adrenals tapping out I have focused largely on not allowing adrenaline to surge or my energy to be affected by outside stimulus.
In other words, I’m trying hard to stay zen so my adrenals can heal.
I have some pretty strong triggers in my life that immediately put me into fear mode. I think it’s similar to a PTSD response. When the trigger hits I instantly start to shake, I feel sick to my stomach, and I can’t think clearly.
When this happened to me the other day I remembered to let the energy pass through me instead of holding on to it.
You have to stop for a second and imagine all energy flowing through you from the top of your head and down through the bottom of your feet, allowing the strong energy to fall away.
Within 30 seconds of the trigger, I was back to feeling normal. The shakes and sick feeling were gone.
It was magical.
The hard part is remembering to do it in the moment.
