I have to be honest, at the beginning of this decade the New Year didn’t really mean much to me.
10 years ago I was a stay at home mom, and I was home schooling my kids.
The days were all very much the same, they passed by, and the New Year didn’t change that.
I wasn’t living my life, I was just running around helping my people live theirs and do what they wanted to do.
Things have a changed a lot in the last ten years.
A lot.
I am living a totally different life, and now the New Year is exciting.
Learning how to play the long game and deciding on where I want to go and what is important to me has made each year a little more exciting than the last.
It’s fun to see how the years add up and how I can build on what I was doing in the previous years.
Letting the days and years pass by without any intention to make the most of it – results in a lot of the same.
But if you make a plan, at least you can keep it fresh and intentional.
Don’t get me wrong. Life never goes as planned, but it’s fun to look at where you’ve been, plan where you want to go, be open to all possibility, and then see what happens.
There is no better time to do that than right now.
3 days left until the New Year and the start of a new decade.
The best way to make the most of your time, is to stop letting it slip by.
Can you feel the excitement building?
