It’s important to do just enough research that you know you want to take the next step, or make the next move.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a major life decision, an important conversation, or if it’s as simple as spending a chunk of your money on something.
When you are spontaneous and reactive without any forethought there are quite often consequences you aren’t prepared for, or you end up somewhere you didn’t want to be.
There doesn’t have to be years of research. Once you’ve made up your mind to take the step because the pain of remaining where you are is too great, then further research becomes a way to hide.
Overthinking is hiding.
Life is about taking action. Not spontaneous reactive action, but thoughtful and intentional action.
We can see this clearly when we look at where the rewards lie. The people who are taking action are the ones who are reaping the greatest reward.
