When they say do something every day that scares you, they aren’t talking about sky diving and bull fighting… although those things count.
They are talking about:
- speaking up,
- sharing your opinion,
- staring rejection in the face and showing love when you’re hurt,
- being alone,
- being present with someone,
- opening your heart,
- letting go of protection emotions (anger, blame, rage, guilt, resentment)
- crying,
- saying yes to new things,
- saying no to other things,
- chasing a dream,
- following your heart
- falling in love,
And all of the other little moments where we choose to stay where we don’t allow ourselves to be uncomfortable.
Those are the places you need to go to grow. That’s where the magic happens.
Life isn’t supposed to be predictable and perfect for us.
It is supposed to be a mish mash of experience, opportunity, and action.
Do something that scares you – I promise it will turn out better than you think it is going to.
