If I could give you one piece of information that would change your life, it would be to stop minimizing everything. Just to be clear, I am not talking to the drama queens, spoiled brats, and immature adults in the crowd… I’m talking to you.
You are someone who makes a big deal about everyone else. You care more about others than you do yourself. You are someone with a big heart and small needs, and you work tirelessly to ensure everyone else is happy. And you are proud of it.
And then you minimize all of the things that are important to you.
And when you minimize what is important to you, you betray yourself, your hopes and dreams diminish, and your light starts to fade.
And one day you wake up, and you have forgotten what you love to do. You have forgotten who you are. You have lost track of what used to matter to you. And you have no idea how to find yourself.
So please, on this journey of life. Stop minimizing everything. Learn how to say no. Then learn how to say YES. Then say no to the things that don’t align with your YES.
You matter. What you want matters. What you love to do matters.
But you can’t do it until you stop minimizing and recognize that the littlest things are actually really big important things.
