Since writing my blog I’ve noticed how I roll around in the same ideas, same thought patterns, and same worldview.
It’s not a bad thing, it matches my beliefs and it’s the way I make sense of the world.
But every time I want to write about something different it’s really hard. I find this super interesting.
How can we get different outcomes if we keep thinking the same things?
The times I have really surged ahead is when I take the time to force myself to learn something completely different.
This hasn’t happened many times in my life because it’s hard and it takes a lot of work. It takes me a long time to assimilate a different world view, to make a major life change, and to allow myself to become someone who sees things differently.
When the opportunity to make a change in your life presents itself it’s good to take it. But you need to be prepared for the journey of learning new things, seeing the world differently, and overcoming the massive amount of fear that arises from leaving the zone of what you already know and believe.
There’s a big world out there, but for some reason it’s a whole lot easier to stay with what’s familiar.
I encourage to to take the leap. I promise you will figure everything out as you go. And then if you ever decide to write a blog, you’ll have new material to write about 🙂
