If you aren’t able to step outside of your box and move towards the change you seek to make, it is possible your “why” isn’t strong enough.

Your why doesn’t have to be a deep and altruistic or spiritual… but it does need to be compelling and congruent with where you are headed.

There is no alternative to putting one foot in front of the other and going through the transition but if you don’t have the strength to face the odds, you need to go back to your why and redefine it.

I’ve noticed my “why” usually revolves around what I’m no longer willing to accept in my life.

Your “why” might be different, but you have to believe it is more important than anything else. It needs to be more important than other people’s opinions, more important than any perceived failures, shame, imperfection, and the mess it might create.

Your why is what will get you to the other side.
