Rebuilding The Meaning Of Family

I really loved the idea of being married.

I love family and I love being around family, so I really loved it when I had my own little family.

I remember sitting in my living room grinning just because we were all together sometimes.

I know I stayed married too long for many different reasons…my love for family was one of them.

Separating felt like busting that up and ripping it apart.

I was bound and determined to not let “broken family” be a line my children used to refer to us.

In the last 4 years I have worked very hard to rebuild the meaning of family for my kids.

I can proudly say my little family is stronger than ever.

We are not broken, we are reinvented.

We are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other.

There is a lot of love and support.

If I only had 2 extra front seats in my truck, life would be darn near perfect.
