Cancer has become synonymous with the end of your life.
The diagnosis is downright scary, I don’t care who you are… so many people win the battle only to lose to it again at a later date.
We have all been affected by it.
But yesterday I heard a miraculous cancer story.
I sure wish it was the norm to talk about these miracle stories rather than the losses.
A wonderful customer in her 60’s married the love of her life 2 years ago.
They came in to see me to purchase a trailer with living quarters in it so they could travel the world.
They took the trailer home this past spring.
It was their dream and their dream trailer.
She called me yesterday to say her husband had just been diagnosed with cancer, they didn’t know any details yet but was wondering if somewhere down the road if they could bring the trailer back to consign at our place if they needed to sell it.
We both cried through the conversation.
At the end, I told her about someone who I knew who had cancer, and they operated and removed it without any treatment, and she’s good as new today… so to keep her chin up and not do any treatment if at all possible… I’m a strong believer that the treatment usually kills you long before the cancer ever could.
Then she told me her story.
A few years back she was full of cancer and given a 5% chance to live.
She said the oncologist was going to fill her full of all sorts of awful chemicals and she refused to take them. She told the oncologist she was going to medicate with wine and prayers instead.
The oncologist became very upset, crossed her arms and left the office.
Her sister was with her and couldn’t believe what had just happened.
She said, “that’s when I knew it was the right thing to do. I drank wine, I laughed and I had fun and I prayed all of the time.”
I asked her if she was cancer free now, and she said, “oh yes!! And it was in my lymph nodes and everything.”
This is amazing to me, and these stories need to be spread.
There is always hope, even when the story you’re being told is grim.
Staying out of fear, is the hardest part.
Do you have miracle stories to share? Please do!
