We seem to flounder in life until we take a hard look at what our gifts are and begin to consciously use them.

Our gifts are our super powers, and they are a clue to us about the way we need to do our work.

Deep down we know things about ourselves, but they’ve been there so long that we don’t realize how special they are.

Whatever your super power is, it’s an asset, you’re lucky to have it and it needs to be leveraged in your life.

Some people are attractive, and their beauty draws people in.

Some people are likeable, it doesn’t matter what they say it is never offensive to others.

Some people are super funny, they have a unique way of seeing the world that makes other people laugh.

Some people hold great wisdom, they can easily see deeper truths and meaning in life.

Some people are so self motivated, they motivate and inspire others.

There are a million more.

We each have a super power, something that comes easily to us and we just “get”, something other people don’t always have.

It took me a lot of soul searching to begin to uncover mine. And even as I write this I don’t want to share them out loud.

Somehow society has taught us that our super powers aren’t important and shouldn’t be talked about… but we need to, because they are one of the bread crumbs to finding meaning in our lives.

We have several super powers. We do not have just one. Until we begin to own them we aren’t doing our best work and we aren’t making a contribution to society like we need to.

One of my super powers is the ability to see. I love to help others see things differently.

Insert Wayne Dyer quote “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”. I love to help with that.

When you combine your super power with a subject matter that gets you fired up inside, you have a winning combination.

Some people call this finding your passion.

I consider it leveraging your assets to create the life you are inspired to live.

Once you begin to really own your super powers, they ooze out of you.

Sometimes other people can see them easier than you, so if you’re struggling to figure it out, ask someone you trust that knows you well.

Your super power can and should be applied everywhere in your life from your family to your work and in your community.

Each super power is an asset. They have great value.

Please use it accordingly and don’t take it for granted or let it lay dormant.

It has the power to change your life.
