I am taking an online marketing seminar right now and it’s really stretching me.
It’s deep.

It talks about appealing to underlying human needs and how what we buy addresses those needs.

I am working hard to deeply understand myself as a consumer because before you can understand others, you need to understand yourself.

I ran to the grocery store to grab weiners, buns and shampoo last night and then I questioned why I chose the ones I did.

What is the story I believe about the weiners?   Where did the story come from?   At what point did I change in order to gain a new understanding of weiners?  What changed me?

Then I caught myself assessing weiners, pigs, parts of the pig, and the stories I heard about weiners and pig parts growing up.

The kicker?

I had bought “all beef” weiners… I don’t even know what “All Beef” means except that I assume there are no pig parts.

Sometimes life is so weird.
