The image above is the Map of Consciousness from the book Power versus Force by Dr. David Hawkins.
At first it looks very overwhelming, because it’s scientific and complicated, but bear with me. This information is important.
Let’s break it down.
(if you want more technical and in depth explanation I suggest reading the book).
Notice the words on the side. Power and force. Strong and weak.
Then notice the fine print dividing the two.
Levels at or above 200 have truth, integrity, and support life —- creative (and I would add expansive)
Levels at or below 200 are false, lack integrity, and do not support life –— destructive (and I would add contracted)
There is lots here but to keep it basic for this blog, let’s focus on the 3rd and 4th column across called “Level Name” and “Level #”.
The “Level #” column is the vibration measurement of that level.
The top half are the Power levels. Power is self sustaining, permanent, and invincible. They are creative. Sounds good right? Invincible is a great word.
Let’s look at the top levels. Keep in mind the most powerful vibration is at the top, and only Jesus, Buddha, and Krishna operate at the level of Enlightenment.
Enlightenment
Peace
Joy
Love
Acceptance
Willingness
Neutrality
Courage
It’s interesting to note that courage is the level at the bottom. It’s the point at which you move away from Force and into Power.
The bottom half are Force levels. They are temporary and consume energy. They are destructive.
Let’s look at those ones:
Pride
Anger
Desire
Fear
Grief
Apathy
Guilt
Shame
Most of the worlds population vibrate in the lower half.
It’s a choice. We can live in the upper half or the lower half.
It’s hard to live in the upper half. It takes a lot of what Seth Godin would call emotional labour. It’s not a short cut. It’s a long road and requires a lot of thoughtfulness and reflection. The rewards are incredible and it’s worth it. But it’s far from easy.
We can operate from Force. Most of the world does. Isis is deep into the force side. It’s easier in a lot of ways because we close our hearts and push our way through. But we need to understand it’s destructive and doesn’t not support life. Even on the smallest scale.
How does this affect us?
When it’s about us: when we are operating at the top level we are creative and supporting life. It feels expansive. People are drawn to us because they feel good around us. Our lives are fulfilling and peaceful. We can make sustaining change happen from this space.
When it’s about others: the top levels are qualities to look for in other people. These are the people we want to be around us because they raise us up and help us be better. Someone who has courage to show up and try new things, is willing to dive in and try, and who can move to acceptance easily. These are the best people.
I think that’s a lot to chew on for today.
So I will leave you with a Martin Luther King quote that speaks to this idea:
“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”
Love wins.
