It’s been a bit much.

Navigating all of the fear, the conflicting beliefs, the arguments online, the restrictions offline and the way the world has changed is a lot to take in.

I don’t know about you, but I’m at the end of my rope and my fuse is short.

My bucket is not full and I find myself doing all that I can to refuel so that I can show up the next day.

So if you’re bucket is also a bit empty, I thought it might be a good idea to share a few bucket filling ideas.

1. Journal. Write down the things you’re feeling. Valid your feelings. Question your thoughts. it doesn’t matter as long as you’re connecting with yourself and feeling heard.

2. Go for a walk. By yourself or with a dog. Just get outside and move your feet. No headphones, no phone calls. Just yourself and your thoughts.

3. Rest. If you can go to bed early or take a nap, do it. We are over stimulated and spent. Sleep is healing.

4. Engage in a hobby. An old hobby or a new one, it doesn’t matter. Just do something that is creative, or fun.

5. Meditation. It’s a mini holiday for you, and chance to just hang out with yourself. It has tremendous health benefits, and mystical side effects. You can’t go wrong with it.

Mostly you just need to take regular breaks to free yourself from the intensity of the world
