I might have done things very differently if I could have figured out how I was creating my own reality. The problem was I was living in so much dysfunction I couldn’t see which parts were mine and which ones weren’t.
As soon as you start doing “work arounds” in your own life – you’re in trouble. It becomes a tangled mess of untruths and it becomes very hard to clean it up. The work arounds become lies you tell yourself.
If you want to clean it up, you need to break free from the isolation. You need a support person, you need safe people who can help you see, and you need a little space to figure things out. These are non-negotiable and invaluable. Pay someone if you have to.
When you find the courage to live in alignment with what you feel is right inside, the world around you changes. It has to.
The sooner you learn to observe the world around you as a byproduct, the closer you are to creating the life you long for.
It’s about you, but it’s not all about you. Learning to decipher which is which will change everything.
“When you get the inside right, the outside falls into place.” – Eckhart Tolle
