I’ve spent the last couple of weeks reflecting on 2018 simply because I believe in the power of “seeing how far we’ve come” as inspiration for where we can go.
The first 6 months of 2018 were really messy and some of the most trying for me. I started several new projects while trying to navigate several different legal matters, and a few mini crises’s in my personal life.
By July the stress had started to affect my health. I took a couple of self healing months and spent all of August and September getting myself unwound and healthy again.
The last quarter of 2018 was awesome. I started riding again, reconnected with my oldest son, and had the best Christmas I’ve had in many many years. The difference in my life from the January of 2018 to now is nothing short of miraculous.
What’s the secret? I’m not sure there is one. I didn’t do anything special, I think it’s just a shift in the energy. Sometimes we get lemons, and sometimes we get lemonade.
We just have to kept moving forward.
The riskiest thing you can do when the going gets tough is nothing. The only way through it, is through it. And the sooner you move forward the fast your get through it.
As for 2019… it’s brand new. If you were to think really big while planning this year, what goals would you pull off?
