You will feel like you can’t do some things.
But the truth is you aren’t willing to do them, and being honest with yourself about that will help you.
I used to have terrible self talk and not being honest with myself protected me from my own tongue lashing.
If I said I couldn’t I was letting myself off the hook.
But there was no power in that.
When I started being honest with myself it was empowering.
“I won’t do that because I’m not willing to……….. (insert other priorities which could be anything from not willing to give up me time, sleep, or rest, or watch your fav tv show)”.
Sometimes you just can’t take on more and that is ok, there is no shame in that.
You need to forgive yourself for being human, for only doing what you can do, and trust that when it becomes a priority to do this other thing, you will find the time.
You don’t have to say yes, you don’t have to make an excuse or disempower yourself by saying you can’t or you wish you could.
Just be honest and say you won’t, and then be ok with that. Because it is ok, you are allowed to say no.
