Our lives have been disrupted.
Even if yours doesn’t appear like its changed, at the very least you are washing your hands all of the time and staying home when you might not have.
Some people are telling us not to waste the time we have, and others are telling us the opposite.
I have found it hard to focus and that has resulted in a lot more unproductive time than I usually have. No matter how hard I try, I’m not using this time as well as I would like to be.
If this is how you feel, its ok. You probably are spending a lot of time managing your emotions, and managing your new life.
Because we have been disrupted.
But here is what you should not do right now.
You should not neglect the things that keep your spirits up, or that matter to you. It takes you down the road to closing your heart, and exhausting yourself.
Now is not the time to back burner the things that are good for you. You need what is good for you in order to keep you mentally strong.
I don’t know what you need.
You do though.
If you need suggestions then deep breathing, guided meditation, exercise that increases your heart rate, dancing in the kitchen, listening to a motivational speaker, being in nature, and warm baths with essential oils are a good place to start.
You have been disrupted, but you do not need to be neglected.
