You think they don’t see it

When you feel inferior in some way, you tend to overcompensate for it.

It’s not obvious to you that is what you’re doing but because you feel inferior your whole world view is skewed.

Sometimes the overcompensation is subtle.

You might share quotes or memes that are contrary to your belief, trying to build yourself up, or you might make choices that keep you small.

Sometimes the overcompensation is big.

You might defend yourself by attacking someone who pushes your inferior button, or you might spiral into shame and shut down.

So often we think we are hiding how we truly feel inside, but it’s never truly hidden. The outside world notices when things don’t make sense or don’t add up.

The best way to overcome inferiority is to get to know yourself better.

You really are more powerful than you think.
