Life is big and complex and there is no way to master it all. It’s impossible.
The odd person obtains total mastery in one area, but that means they have missed out on a plethora of others.
No single person has it all together and knows all of the things.
I really appreciate hearing someone else’s life experience because it helps me to learn faster.
I want to know the things that made an impact so I can pay attention to them too.
They don’t have to be grand.
It might be that you had a change of scenery when things got stale and it breathed life back into you.
It might be that you started meditating and it turned your life around.
It might be that you got a dog and it gave your purpose.
Or a million other things that made a difference.
Your life experience matters.
Devaluing yourself isn’t helpful. You ignore the gems, the things that worked, and the best lessons.
Celebrate your life.
Notice what’s working and when you get wins.
Share them with others (especially your kids).
The best way to learn is to learn from each other.
