The odds are fairly high that not everyone is going to like you.

I am a person who has enjoyed being “likeable”, so this fact was a hard one for me to accept and it ultimately kept me spending my time with the wrong types of people.  It had became an unconscious mission of mine to win over the dislikers.

I spent a lot of years on this mission without any idea that’s what I was doing.

The problem with trying to win over the dislikers, is that you never really feel accepted.  You are always hustling for appreciation, connection and feeling ‘liked’.   You never get time to just relax and explore youself.

As I began to gain more clarity on who I am, I began to search out people that I like.

Once you make this leap everything changes.

When you’re spending time with people who are similar to you, and life is relaxed, you have time and energy to explore your curiosities, and they join in.   And their curiosities are interesting and expand you also.

Life flows.

You grow.

Happiness just happens.
