I used to consider myself full of love. I truly believed love would solve everything.

When things went wrong it was because someone was unloved, and if I could just love them a little harder, everything would be a ok.

When my marriage fell apart, I really questioned this belief.

I wondered how important love even was. I had loved with everything I had – for over a decade – and it hadn’t worked.

I wondered…

Does love actually matter and was it really as powerful as I thought.

And I stayed in that space for a very long time while I tried to figure it out.

One day while while driving I wondered…

“What if you thought you weren’t loveable and nobody would ever love you again?”

The awfulness of this question rocked me to my core. It’s everything that shame is rooted in.

In that moment I realized the deep meaning of love.

Without it… life wouldn’t be worth it.

But it needs to be conscious.

Love is liberation, and freedom, and compassion, and connection and service.

Unconscious love is controlling, and needy and all about you.

Sibling love each other but fight because they are trying to control each other.

Parents love their children but control their environment assuming they know more.

But when the conscious power of love is applied… the controlling stops and the person who is loved is liberated.

Because love is wanting to help the other get where they are going without any agenda of your own.

Love is recognizing your humanity and your own suffering and never wanting that for another.

Love is being so full that overflow to others, not expect them to save, or protect you.

I was right. Love does solve everything, but it wasn’t up to me to love a little harder.

It was up to me to love myself and to consciously understand the meaning and power of real conscious high vibration love.

And that kind of love can move mountains, can bridge gaps, and give wings to the meek.

That is the love that wins.
