What do you allow in your space?

by jodi // June 26

When we say we don’t have time for something, it really means we haven’t made space for it in our lives.

If something is asking for your energy and attention it is taking up space in your life. We only have so much open space to fit everything in. Relationships, work/contribution, family, self care, and play all hold space.

Tony Robbins says our biggest fears are loss, less, never. Meaning that we are most afraid of losing what we already have, or of having less than we had before, or of never having that thing again.

But when you look at your life from a space perspective, you realize that if loss, less, never, actually happens it opens up empty space in your life.

And empty space means you can choose to fill it with whatever you want.

That’s the beauty of living in an abundant world. There is always more and always so much to choice.

We don’t have to cling to what we have now because it is easy to have the space in our lives fill up and often it’s over full making new relationships, experiences, and hobbies hard to fit in.

This is the same for everyone. The less conscious you are of the space, the more it fills up without your consent.

If you want to take up more space in someone else’s life but you have to work too hard at it… maybe you aren’t giving them enough space to choose you…
