Compromise is important in a healthy relationship. It can’t be all for one and one for all.
Compromise doesn’t mean sacrifice, it means we commit to each other and seek win/win situations.
But what happens when we compromise too much, give more than we are willing, or do something that is against our values, morals, or ethics?
It’s a betrayal of self, and it’s deadly. We lose our power, stray off our path, and deflate our purpose.
Compromise and commitment are important and necessary, but there has to be a line we aren’t willing to cross. We can not betray ourselves in the process.
